Claims15
A method for lowering the concentration of a serum lipid or lipid component in a mammal, comprising the step of administering to a mammal in need of such treatment a hypolipidemic, therapeutically effective amount of a creatine derivative or combination of creatine derivatives selected from the group consisting of creatine monohydrate, a pharmaceutically acceptable creatine salt and creatine phosphate.
A method for lowering the concentration of a serum lipid or lipoprotein component in a warm blooded animal, the method comprising the steps of administering to an animal in need of such treatment an amount of at least one creatine derivative selected from the group consisting of creatine monohydrate, a pharmaceutically acceptable creatine salt and creatine phosphate sufficient to lower the concentration of at least one serum lipid or lipoprotein component.
