Abstract
A snake-controlling agent contains at least one pyrethroid compound as an active ingredient. It is used for controlling snakes. According to the present invention, the effective controlling of snakes is possible by utilizing the snake-controlling property of pyrethroid compounds.

A method for controlling snakes selected from the group consisting of Infraorder Scolecophidia, Infraorder Henophilia and Infraorder Caenophidia which comprises applying to the snakes of this group an amount effective for killing snakes of this group of at least one pyrethroid compound.
