A nitric ester which has the following general formula:
- ##STR17## where:
- A and B are hydrogen, linear or branched alkyl chains;
- R is:
- ##STR18## R.sub.2 is methyl, ethyl, or a linear or branched alkyl chain of 3 to 12 carbon atoms;
- Y is oxygen, NH, or NR.sub.1, where R.sub.1 is a linear or branched alkyl group;
- and,
- n is an integer between 1 and 10.
