Abstract
The present invention is directed to a novel process of preparing an anti-obesity protein using dipeptidyl-aminopeptidase isolated from the cellular slime mold, Dictyostelium discodeum. The process produces an anti-obesity protein in high yield.
Claims10
A process for preparing a protein of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, which comprises contacting the protein of SEQ ID NO:
- 2 with dDAP;
- wherein dDAP is dipeptidylaminopeptidase from Dictyostelium discoideum having a native molecular weight of about 225,000 daltons, and a subunit molecular weight of about 66,000 daltons.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
