Abstract
An internal mold release system is provided which comprises (a) a carboxylic acid and (b) a compound selected from the group consisting of a fatty polyester, a fatty acid ester and a fatty amide.
Claims18
A reaction system comprising:
- (1) an organic polyisocyanate, (2) at least one compound containing a plurality of isocyanate-reactive groups and (3) an internal mold release system comprising (a) a carboxylic acid and (b) a compound selected from the group consisting of a fatty polyester, a fatty acid ester and a fatty amide.
A process for producing molded articles comprising reacting (1) an organic polyisocyanate;
- (2) at least one compound containing a plurality of isocyanate-reactive groups;
- and (3) an internal mold release system comprising (a) a carboxylic acid and (b) a compound selected from the group consisting of a fatty polyester, a fatty acid ester and a fatty amide.
