Abstract
An element for lining the interior surface of a tunnel, which comprises a composite panel in which a fibrous layer is laminated over a hard substrate, and a fluoropolymer surface layer is laminated over said fibrous glass layer.

A tunnel structure having interior walls lined with a plurality of liner elements, each of the elements comprises a composite panel in which a fibrous glass layer is laminated over a hard substrate, and a fluoropolymer surface layer is laminated over said fibrous glass layer, the fluoropolymer side of each element facing outwardly from the interior wall of the tunnel.
