Abstract
An epoxy-resin composition containing, as essential components, (1) an epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule, (2) a solid-dispersing, amine adduct-type latent hardener, and (3) a titanium and/or zirconium alkoxide(s).
Claims6
An epoxy-resin composition comprising, as essential components, (1) an epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule, (2) a solid-dispersing, latent hardener which is a reaction product of an amine or urea compound with an epoxy compound, said reaction product being insoluble in epoxy resins at room temperature while being soluble in epoxy resins under heat, and (3) titanium and/or zirconium metal alkoxide(s), said composition having improved storage stability as compared to a composition not containing said titanium and/or zirconium metal alkoxide(s).
A method for storage-stabilizing an epoxy-resin composition comprising, as essential components, (1) an epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule, and (2) a solid-dispersing, latent hardener which is a reaction product of an amine or urea compound with an epoxy compound, said reaction product being insoluble in epoxy resins at room temperature while being soluble in epoxy resins with heat, comprising incorporating (3) titanium and/or zirconium metal alkoxide(s) into said epoxy resin composition, said composition having improved storage stability as compared to a composition not containing said titanium and/or zirconium metal alkoxide(s).
