Abstract
This invention is generally directed toward a catalyst system useful for polymerizing olefins. The catalyst system of this invention comprises a supported bulky ligand transition metal compound and a separately supported cocatalyst or activator for the compound.
Claims7
A method for producing a catalyst system comprising the steps of:
- a) contacting at least one first carrier with at least one bulky ligand transition metal metallocene where the first carrier consists essentially of predominantly the metallocene;
- and separately
- b) contacting at least one second carrier with at least one activator or cocatalyst for said metallocene where the first carrier consists essentially of predominantly the activator or cocatalyst.
