Abstract
Two distinct alpha interferon receptor proteins have been separated and partially purified by antigen affinity chromatography and SDS-PAGE. These proteins are potentially useful as therapeutic agents. Antibodies against these proteins are potentially useful as diagnostic and therapeutic agents.
Claims4
A partially pure protein specifically binding alpha and beta interferon, but not gamma interferon, and having an apparent molecular weight of about 63,000 daltons as determined by affinity chromatography, SDS-PAGE and fluorography, and about 50,000 as determined by crosslinking, SDS-PAGE, and autoradiography, separated from other interferon receptor protein.
