Abstract
A heat-sensitive recording material which is highly transparent and resistant to sticking. The recording material comprises a support, having thereon in the following order, a heat-sensitive recording layer and a protective layer comprising a pigment, a binder and a wax. The wax has a melting point of from 40.degree. C. to 100.degree. C. and said wax comprises wax particles having a 50% volume-average particle diameter of not more than 0.7 .mu.m. Furthermore, the protective layer contains the pigment in an amount of not more than 100 parts per 100 parts by weight of binder.
Claims11
A heat-sensitive recording material comprising a support, having thereon in the following order, a heat-sensitive recording layer and a protective layer comprising a pigment, a binder and a wax, wherein said wax has a melting point of from 40.degree. C. to 100.degree. C. and said wax comprises wax particles having a 50% volume-average particle diameter of from not less than 0.2 .mu.m to not more than 0.7 .mu.m, and said protective layer contains said pigment in an amount of from not less than 0.1 parts to not more than 100 parts per 100 parts by weight of the binder.
