Abstract
The present invention provides novel 5-(1-fluorovinyl)-1H-pyrimidine-2,4-dione derivatives which are useful as antineoplastic agents by themselves or in conjunctive therapy with the antineoplastic agent 5-fluorouracil.
Claims8
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR13## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, or a phenyl group unsubstituted or substituted with from 1 to 3 substituents, wherein each substituent is selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl and C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy;
- and
- R.sub.3 is hydrogen, ribose, 2'-deoxyribose or arabinose.
