Abstract
A load circuit which can tolerates large current and voltage swings before saturation begins includes a field effect transistor having a source coupled to a power supply, a drain coupled to an input terminal which receives signals from a memory circuit data line, and a gate coupled to the drain through a level shifter.
Claims3
A load circuit, comprising:
- an input terminal;
- a field-effect transistor with a source coupled to receive a fixed potential, a gate, and a drain coupled to said input terminal;
- and
- a level shifter coupled between said input terminal and the gate of said field-effect transistor, for shifting a potential of said input terminal, thereby controlling said field-effect transistor.
