Abstract
The invention relates to new 4-quinolyl-dihydropyridine esters of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 to R.sub.6 have the meaning given in the description, to processes for their preparation and to their use in medicaments, especially in agents for the treatment of cardiac circulatory disorders.
Claims7
A 4-quinolyl-dihydropyridine ester of the formula ##STR55## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.5 are identical or different and represent methyl or ethyl,
- R.sup.2 represents nitro or cyano
- or
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 together form a lactone ring of the formula ##STR56## R.sup.6 represents hydrogen, R.sup.3 represents phenyl which is optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, nitro, cyano, hydroxyl, trifluoromethyl, methyl, ethyl, methoxy or ethoxy,
- R.sup.4 represents cyano, nitro or formyl,
- or R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 together form a lactone ring of the formula ##STR57## or R.sup.4 represents a group of the formula --CO--A--R.sup.8 or --CO--NR.sup.9 R.sup.10
- in which
- A denotes a direct bond or an oxygen atom,
- R.sup.8 denotes cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl which are optionally interrupted by the group --NR.sup.11, or denotes a straight-chain, branched, cyclic, saturated or unsaturated substituted hydrocarbon radical having up to 8 carbon atoms which is optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom, phenylidene or by a group of the formula --S(O).sub.a or --NR.sup.11 and is optionally substituted by phenyl,
- in which
- a denotes the number 0 or 2
- and
- R.sup.11 denotes hydrogen or phenyl which is optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, methyl or methoxy, or denotes cyclopropyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, or straight-chain or branched alkyl having up to 4 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted by phenyl,
- and where the hydrocarbon radical, in the case
- where A represents oxygen, is always substituted by cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl or by a group --CO--NR.sup.12 R.sup.13, --NR.sup.14 --CO--R.sup.15, --NR.sup.16 --SO.sub.2 --R.sup.17, --SO.sub.2 --NR.sup.18 R.sup.19, O--NO.sub.2, --O--(CH.sub.2).sub.b --R.sup.20, --S(O).sub.c --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 --R.sup.21, --NR.sup.22 R.sup.23 or --NR.sup.24 --COOR.sup.25,
- in which
- R.sup.12, R.sup.13, R.sup.14, R.sup.15, R.sup.16, R.sup.17, R.sup.18, R.sup.19, R.sup.24 and R.sup.25 are identical or different and have the meaning of R.sup.11 given above, and are identical or different to the latter,
- b denotes the number 1, 2, 3 or 4,
- d denotes the number 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4,
- c has the meaning of a given above, and is identical or different to the latter,
- R.sup.20 and R.sup.21 are identical or different and denote phenyl which is optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, methyl or methoxy,
- R.sup.22 and R.sup.23 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or a straight-chain, branched, saturated, unsaturated or cyclic hydrocarbon radical having up to 4 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, cyclopropyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or phenoxy, which are optionally substitute by fluorine, chlorine, methyl or methoxy,
- or
- R.sup.22 and R.sup.23, together with the nitrogen atom, form a piperidine or piperazine ring, which is optionally substituted by benzyl,
- or the hydrocarbon radical, in the case where A represents oxygen, is substituted by pyridyl, tetrahydropyranyl, pyrazolyl, furyl, or chromanyl, or by a radical of the formula ##STR58## R.sup.9 and R.sup.10 are identical or different and denote hydrogen, a straight-chain, branched, cyclic, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having up to 6 carbon atoms which may optionally be substituted by phenol, or denote phenyl or pyridyl,
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
