Abstract
There are disclosed compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is ##STR2## X is O, or S; Y is O or NOR.sup.2 ; R.sup.2 is alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl, --CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, --CH.sub.2 Ph, --CH.sub.2 C.sub.6 F.sub.5, or ##STR3## R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, or phenylalkyl; R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6 are each, independently, hydrogen, alkyl, --OH, alkoxy, --CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, halogen, --NH.sub.2, alkylamino, dialkylamino, or --NO.sub.2 ; m=0-20; and n=0-10 or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof which are useful as anti-inflammatory agents.
Claims8
A compound having the formula ##STR9## wherein R.sup.1 is ##STR10## X is O, or S;
- Y is O or NOR.sup.2 ;
- R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2-7 carbon atoms, phenyl, --CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, --CH.sub.2 Ph, --CH.sub.2 C.sub.6 F.sub.5, or ##STR11## R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, phenyl, or phenylalkyl of 7-12 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6 are each, independently, hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, --OH, alkoxy of 1-6 carbon atoms, --CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, halogen, --NH.sub.2, alkylamino of 1-6 carbon atoms, dialkylamino of 2-12 carbon atoms, or --NO.sub.2 ;
- m=0-20;
- and
- n=0-10
- or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.
A method of treating an inflammatory condition in a mammal which comprising to said mammal an antiinflammatory effective amount of a compound having the formula ##STR12## wherein R.sup.1 is ##STR13## X is O, or S;
- Y is O or NOR.sup.2 ;
- R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2-7 carbon atoms, phenyl, --CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, --CH.sub.2 Ph, --CH.sub.2 C.sub.6 F.sub.5, or ##STR14## R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, phenyl, or phenylalkyl of 7-12 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6 are each, independently, hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, --OH, alkoxy of 1-6 carbon atoms, --CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, halogen, --NH.sub.2, alkylamino of 1-6 carbon atoms, dialkylamino of 2-12 carbon atoms, or --NO.sub.2 ;
- m=0-20;
- and
- n=0-10
- or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition which comprises a compound having the formula ##STR15## wherein R.sup.1 is ##STR16## X is O, or S;
- Y is O or NOR.sup.2 ;
- R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2-7 carbon atoms, phenyl, --CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, --CH.sub.2 Ph, --CH.sub.2 C.sub.6 F.sub.5, or ##STR17## R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, phenyl, or phenylalkyl of 7-12 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6 are each, independently, hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms, --OH, alkoxy of 1-6 carbon atoms, --CO.sub.2 R.sup.3, halogen, --NH.sub.2, alkylamino of 1-6 carbon atoms, dialkylamino of 2-12 carbon atoms, or --NO.sub.2 ;
- m=0-20;
- and
- n=0-10
- or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutical carrier.
