Abstract
The present invention relates to a concrete-forming composition comprising: (a) a base component consisting of a combination of cement and silica, (b) water, as a carrier, and (c) from about 0.01% to about 25% by weight based on the weight of the composition of a wetting agent selected from the group consisting of piperazine-substituted organosulfonates, piperazinone-substituted organosulfonates, and combinations thereof, and optionally (d) a polycarboxylated alcohol alkoxylate.
Claims5
A concrete-forming composition comprising:
- (a) a base component consisting of a combination of cement and silica,
- (b) water, as a carrier, and
- (c) a wetting agent, in an amount of between about 0.01% and about 25% by weight based upon the weight of the composition, selected from the group consisting of piperazine-substituted organosulfonates, piperazinone-substituted organosulfonates, and combinations thereof.
In a concrete-forming composition comprising water, silica and cement, the improvement comprising said composition additionally containing a concrete emulsion mix additive selected from the group consisting of piperazine-substituted organosulfonates, piperazinone-substituted organosulfonates, and combinations thereof.
