Abstract
A method for treating a human or non-human animal afflicted with malignant cells sensitive to vibriobactin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or complex thereof comprising administering to the animal an amount of vibriobactin effective to inhibit the proliferation of the malignant cells.
Claims9
A pharmaceutical composition in unit dosage form adapted for administration to a human or non-human animal comprising a) a ribonucleotide reductase affecting amount of a compound of the formula:
- ##STR5## wherein Z is ##STR6## R is H or OH, x is 3 or 4,
- y is 3 or 4, and
- a is 1, 2 or 3, or
- a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or complex thereof, and b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier therefor.
