Abstract
This invention provides a method of treating cardiac inflammatory disease which comprises administering rapamycin to said mammal orally, parenterally, intravascularly, intranasally, intrabronchially, transdermally, or rectally.

A method of treating myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, endocarditis, and pericarditis in a mammal in need thereof which comprises administering an effective amount of rapamycin to said mammal orally, parenterally, intravascularly, intranasally, intrabronchially, transdermally, or rectally.
