Abstract
A method of treatment or prophylaxis of angina in mammals, such as humans, which comprises the administration to the sufferer of an effective amount of a compound of formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a solvate of any of the foregoing: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, A and B are herein defined.

A compound which is (N-[3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl]-N-3-[N'-2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-ethyl-N'methyl-am ino]-propyl)-N'-4-nitrobenzamide, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a solvate of said compound or said salt.
A pharmaceutical composition useful for the treatment and prophylaxis of angina in mammals, including humans, which comprises a therapeutically effective amount of a compound which is (N-[3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl]-N-3-[N'-2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-ethyl-N'methyl-am ino]-propyl)-N'-4-nitrobenzamide, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a solvate of said compound or said salt.
