An ameliorant of cerebral circulation which contains 2-carbamoyloxymethyl-4-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-6-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3 ,5-dicarboxylic acid 3-isopropyl ester 5-methyl ester as an active ingredient.

A method of ameliorating cerebral circulation comprising administering an effective amount of 2-carbamoyloxymethyl-4-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-6-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3 ,5-dicarboxylic acid 3-isopropyl ester 5-methyl ester.
