Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor which is excellent in various properties, has effectively inhibited photo-induced fatigue and has stability against repeated use, and which comprises an electroconductive support and a photosensitive layer comprising as essential components a charge-generating material and a diaminodiphenyl compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1##
Claims13
An electrophotographic photoreceptor which comprises an electroconductive support having formed thereon a photosensitive layer comprising as essential components a charge-generating material and at least one diaminodiphenyl compound represented by the general formula (I):
- ##STR8## wherein the two R.sub.1 groups may be the same as or different from each other and each is a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, a phenyl group or a phenyl group substituted by a lower alkyl or alkoxy group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms;
- the two R.sub.2 groups may be the same as or different from each other and each is a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a phenyl group or a phenyl group substituted by a lower alkyl or alkoxy group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms;
- the two R.sub.3 groups may be the same as or different from each other and each is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aralkyl group;
- the two R.sub.4 groups may be the same as or different from each other and each is a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a methyl group or a methoxy group;
- and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are different from each other.
