Abstract
A metallized polyester film capacitor comprising as dielectric, a polyester film having a coating layer on at least one side of the polyester film, the coating layer comprising a polycarbonate polyurethane, and a metal deposited on the coated layer.

A metallized polyester film capacitor comprising, as dielectric, a polyester film having a coating layer comprising a polycarbonate polyurethane on at least one side of the polyester film, and a metal deposited on the coating layer,
- wherein a waterdrop contact angle of said coating layer is not less than 60.degree. the thickness of said coating layer is from 0.01 to 3 .mu.m, and the center line average roughness (R.sub.a) of said coating layer is from 0.005 to 0.5 .mu.m.
A polyester film having a coating layer comprising a polycarbonate polyurethane on at least one side of the polyester film, and a metal deposited on the coating layer,
- wherein a waterdrop contact angle of said coating layer is not less than 60.degree., the thickness of said coating layer is from 0.01 to 3 .mu.m, and the center line average roughness (R.sub.a) of said coating layer is from 0.005 to 0.5 .mu.m.
