Abstract
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer. 50% or more of a total projected area of silver halide grains of at least one silver halide emulsion in the silver halide emulsion layer are accounted for by tabular grains each having an average aspect ratio of 2 or more and containing dislocations. At least one layer of the light-sensitive material contains at least one sensitizing dye represented by Formula (A), (B), or (C) below, and at least one layer of the light-sensitive material contains a polymer containing a repeating unit represented by Formula (I) or (II) below: ##STR1##
Claims16
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, wherein not less than 50% of a total projected area of silver halide grains of at least one silver halide emulsion contained in said silver halide emulsion layer are accounted for by tabular silver halide grains each having an aspect ratio of not less than and each containing dislocations, at least one layer of said light-sensitive material contains at least one sensitizing dye represented by Formula (A), (B) or (C) below, and at least one layer of said light-sensitive material contains a polymer having a repeating unit represented by Formula (II) below:
- ##STR31## wherein each of R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 represents an alkyl group, R.sup.5 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, X represents an anion, n represents a value for adjusting an electric charge of a whole molecule, and when an inner salt is to be formed, n=0:
- ##STR32## wherein E represents --COR.sub.21, --COOR.sub.22, --CONHR.sub.23, --CONHCOR.sub.24, or --SO.sub.2 R.sub.25, wherein each of R.sub.21, R.sub.22, R.sub.23, R.sub.24, and R.sub.25 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl, or cycloalkyl group, or a hydrogen atom, and G represents an alkylene group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms.
