A compound represented by the formula (III):
- R.sub.f C.sub.6 H.sub.4 COCHXR (III)
- wherein R.sub.f is a fluoroalkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms;
- X is SO.sub.3 M;
- M is an alkali metal or NH.sub.4 ;
- and R is an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
