The invention relates to artificial positive control reagents based on antibody conjugates that are used in immunochemical detection methods and to processes for the preparation of these reagents.
Claims5
A bi-functional conjugate comprising an antibody of nonhuman origin, wherein said conjugate has:
- i) a first binding site that specifically binds a specific pathogen;
- and
- ii) a second binding site that specifically binds a specific class of immunoglobulin.
