Abstract
An apparatus for processing a photosensitive material includes a device to replenish a tablet of a solid processing agent into a processing tank in which a cross-section of the tablet is shaped in a circle. A container in which plural tablets are accommodated is detachably mounted on the device. The plural tablets are accommodated in such a manner that an outer circumference of each tablet is contacted with that of the others.

An apparatus for processing a photosensitive material, comprising:
- a processing tank in which a processing solution to process an exposed photosensitive material is stored;
- and
- a solid processing agent replenishing device to replenish a tablet of a solid processing agent into the processing tank, wherein a cross-section of the tablet is shaped in a circle;
- the solid processing agent replenishing device including:
- a container in which a plurality of the tablets are accommodated, the container having an opening through which a tablet is discharged from the container;
- charging means for charging the container, and which can move the container from a first position before charging the container to a second position at which the tablet of the solid processing agent is supplied;
- and
- wherein the container is provided with a discriminating section, and wherein, when the discriminating section detects a predetermined discriminated section, the charging means is allowed to move the container from the first position to the second position.

An apparatus for processing a photosensitive material, comprising:
- a processing tank in which a processing solution to process an exposed photosensitive material is stored;
- and
- a solid processing agent replenishing device to replenish a tablet of a solid processing agent into the processing tank, wherein a cross-section of the tablet is shaped in a circle;
- the solid processing agent replenishing device including:
- a container in which a plurality of the tablets are accommodated in such a manner that an outer circumference of each tablet is contacted with an outer circumference of at least another of the other tablets in the container, the container including an opening through which a tablet is discharged from the container;
- a cover member to open or close the opening;
- holding means for detachably holding the container;
- and
- supplying means for supplying into the processing tank a tablet of the solid processing agent which is discharged from the opening of the container;
- and
- wherein the supplying means includes a housing member having an inlet section through which tablets of the solid processing agent, which are to be discharged from the opening of the container, are introduced into the housing member and an outlet section through which the tablet of the solid processing agent is supplied to the processing tank, and a solid processing agent receiving member to move the tablet of the solid processing agent from the inlet section to the outlet section.

- wherein the container is separated into plural chambers with a partition member, and the plurality of the tablets of the solid processing agent are accommodated in a line arrangement in each of the plural chambers.
