Abstract
A container is composed of one at least one layer of a gas-permeable polymeric material such as a polyolefin, polycarbonate or a polyester and at least one layer of a polymeric gas barrier material containing at least seven percent by weight of amine nitrogen derived from the reaction product of a polyamine and a polyepoxide.
Claims8
A container having an inner surface and an outer surface, the container comprising:
- (a) at least one layer of a gas-permeable polymeric material;
- and
- (b) at least one layer of a polymeric gas barrier material comprised of an ungelled amine-functional polymeric resin which is a reaction product of a polyamine and polyepoxide, the polymeric gas barrier material containing at least seven percent by weight amine nitrogen based on total weight of the polymeric ungelled amine-functional polymeric resin.
