Abstract
The invention provides a cleaning agent and method for removing stains from fabrics comprising a combination of dense gas, a source of hydrogen peroxide and an organic bleach activator therefor.
Claims21
A method for the removal of stains from a substrate comprising:
- contacting said stains with a cleaning composition comprising the combination of a cleaning-effective amount of a fluid medium which is either densified carbon dioxide or supercritical fluid;
- a source of hydrogen peroxide and an organic bleach activator therefor;
- and
- removing said stains.
