Abstract
Refrigerant compositions include mixtures of perfluorooxetane and perfluoromethyl ethyl ether or dimethyl ether; 2,2,4,4,5,5-hexafluoro-1,3-dioxolane and cyclopropane or dimethyl ether; 2,2,3,4,4-pentafluorooxetane and difluoromethyl(trifluoromethyl)sulfide or 1-trifluoromethoxy-2,2,2-trifluoroethane; 2,2,4,4-tetrafluorooxetane and 1-difluoromethoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane or 1-difluoromethoxy-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane; 2,2,3,3-tetrafluorooxetane and 1-difluoromethoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane or 1-difluoromethoxy-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane.

An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of about 80 to about 99 weight percent 2,2,4,4-tetrafluorooxetane and about 1 to about 20 weight percent 1-difluoromethoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane wherein said composition has a vapor pressure of about 16.8 psia at 25.degree. C., or about 15 to about 99 weight percent 2,2,4,4-tetrafluorooxetane and about 1 to about 85 weight percent 1-difluoromethoxy-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane wherein said composition has a vapor pressure of about 17.5 psia at 25.degree. C.
An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of about 10 to about 99 weight percent 2,2,3,3-tetrafluorooxetane and about 1 to about 90 weight percent 1-difluoromethoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane wherein said composition has a vapor pressure of about 14 psia at 25.degree. C., or about 1 to about 60 weight percent 2,2,3,3-tetrafluorooxetane and about 40 to about 99 weight percent 1-difluoromethoxy-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane wherein said composition has a vapor pressure of about 16 psia at 25.degree. C.
