Abstract
An improvement of a radiographic intensifying screen comprises a support, a phosphor layer and a protective layer in order resides in the protective layer which is formed on the phosphor layer by coating a fluoro-resin on the phosphor layer to give a coated layer having a thickness of less than 5 .mu.m.
Claims7
A radiographic intensifying screen comprising a support, a phosphor layer and a protective layer in order, wherein the protective layer is formed on the phosphor layer by coating a fluoro-resin on the phosphor to give a coated layer having a thickness of less than 5 .mu.m, said screen absorbing X-rays of 80 KV.sub.p in an amount of not less than 25% and showing contrast transfer function values of at least 0.79 and at least 0.36 at spatial frequencies of 1 lp/mm and of 3 lp/mm, respectively.
