Isolated polypeptides useful in ameliorating autoimmune disease.
Claims3
An isolated polypeptide consisting of the following amino acid sequence:
- X-Pro-Glu-Val-Lys-Y-Lys-Z
- wherein X is an amino acid sequence selected from one to ten amino acids or omitted;
- Y is Glu, and Z is an amino acid sequence selected from one to eight amino acids or omitted,
- wherein the polypeptide is derived from human GAD.sub.65 and stimulates in vitro proliferation of human T lymphocytes.
