Abstract
Mammalian hair growth is reduced by applying to the skin a composition including an inhibitor of ornithine aminotransferase.
Claims11
A method of reducing mammalian hair growth which comprises
- selecting an area of skin of a mammal from which hair is growing and from which reduced hair growth is desired;
- and
- applying to said area of skin of a mammal from which hair is growing and from which reduced hair growth is desired an inhibitor of ornithine aminotransferase in an amount effective to reduce hair growth.
