Abstract
A photosensitive microcapsule toner encapsulating a photocurable composition is excellent in weather resistance, and is curable by application of low energy visible light, particularly light having a wavelength not less than 600 nm. The photocurable composition is composed of a radical polymerizable unsaturated group-bearing compound, a metal arene compound as a polymerization initiator, a spectral sensitizing dye, and a color material.
Claims14
Photosensitive microcapsule toner comprising;
- an outer shell;
- and a photocurable composition as a core, said photocurable composition comprising at least one radical polymerizable unsaturated group-containing compound, at least one metal arena compound as a polymerization initiator, at least one spectral sensitizing dye that is a squarylium dye, and at least one color material, wherein said photosensitive microcapsule toner is curable by visible light.
