Abstract
A thermoplastic polyester composition suited for preparing a film or fiber having excellent abrasion resistance, as well as a biaxially oriented polyester film consisting essentially of the polyester composition are disclosed. The thermoplastic polyester according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a thermoplastic polyester (A) and zirconium oxide particles (B) having monoclinic and/or tetragonal crystal structure.
