Abstract
An automobile door comprises a cavity defining door body and a shock absorber consisting of a plurality of tiered foam main members, and resin foam auxiliary members disposed between and connecting the main members to form chambers open transverse to the direction along which the main members are tiered.

An automobile door comprising:
- a door body defining a cavity;
- and
- a shock absorber installed in said cavity;
- said shock absorber including a tiered plurality of resin foam main members, and resin foam auxiliary members disposed between and connecting adjacent of said main members such that a number of chambers are defined open transverse to a direction along which said main members are tiered.

- a tiered plurality of foamed-resin main members;
- and
