Abstract
Novel polypeptides are provided, together with methods for making and using them, and nucleic acids encoding them. These polypeptides are useful as cell surface adhesion molecules and ligands, and are useful in therapeutic or diagnostic compositions and methods.
Claims23
A hybrid immunoglobulin chain comprising an amino acid sequence of a ligand binding partner protein fused, at its C-terminus, to the N-terminus of an immunoglobulin constant region amino acid sequence.
A hybrid molecule comprising an amino acid sequence of a ligand binding partner protein, fused, at its C-terminus, to the N-terminus of a first immunoglobulin constant region amino acid sequence, covalently associated with a fusion of an amino acid sequence of an additional agent to the N-terminus of a second immunoglobulin constant region amino acid sequence.
The molecule of claim 16 wherein said first ligand binding partner protein and said additional agent are different.
