Abstract
This invention relates generally to a belt type furnace. More specifically, this invention relates to a belt type furnace that sequentially stops the belt at the vicinity of at least one cooling unit, and where the cooling unit comprises at least two cooling elements. The furnace also allows the cooling of parts in such a way that the part cools uniformly.
Claims38
An apparatus for cooling at least one structure, comprising;
- a) at least one transporting means for securely transporting said at least one structure within said apparatus,
- b) at least one cooling zone in said apparatus, wherein said cooling zone further comprises at least one individual cooling unit with at least two individual cooling elements, and wherein the cross-sectional area of one of said at least two individual cooling elements is larger than the cross-sectional area of the other of said at least two individual cooling elements,
- c) said at least one transporting means moves said structure to be cooled in the vicinity of said at least one cooling unit and holds it there while said at least one structure is being cooled to the desired temperature by said at least two cooling elements.
An apparatus for cooling at least one structure, comprising;
- a) at least one belt for securely transporting said at least one structure within said apparatus,
- b) at least one cooling zone in said apparatus, wherein said cooling zone further comprises at least one individual cooling unit with at least two individual cooling elements, and wherein the cross-sectional area of one of said at least two individual cooling elements is larger than the cross-sectional area of the other of said at least two individual cooling elements,
- c) at least one sequential motor moves said at least one belt in the vicinity of said at least one cooling unit and holds it there while said at least one structure is being cooled to the desired temperature by said at least two cooling elements.
