Abstract
An aqueous dye or pigment ink particularly adapted for ink jet printing containing a fluorinated block copolymer prepared from a fluorinated oxazoline or oxazine. Resulting inks exhibit high print quality over a range of papers.
Claims12
An ink composition comprising an aqueous carrier medium, a colorant, and approximately 0.005 to 10% by weight, based on the total ink composition, of a fluorinated block copolymer prepared from a fluorinated oxazoline or a fluorinated oxazine, said fluorinated block copolymer having a hydrophobic A block containing at least one fluorine atom and a hydrophilic B block.
