Abstract
A fluorine-containing polyimide having a low dielectric constant, low water absorption and excellent heat resistance and moisture resistance and a precursor thereof such as a fluorine-containing polyamide-acid, can be prepared by reacting an acid anhydride with an aromatic diamine having perfluoroalkyl group.
Claims6
A fluorine-containing diamine compound represented by the formula:
- ##STR37## wherein Rf represents --C.sub.n F.sub.2-1 wherein n is an integer of 6 to 12, which contains one double bond and may be branched properly;
- one or more hydrogens in the benzene may be substituted with one or more substituents, and two amino groups are bonded to the aromatic ring at the ortho-, meta- or para-position in relation to the ether linkage.
A fluorine-containing diurethane compound represented by the formula:
- ##STR38## wherein Rf represents --CnF.sub.2n-1 wherein n is an integer of 6 to 12, which contains one double bond and may be branched optionally;
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represent independently an alkyl group which may be substituted or an aryl group which may be substituted;
- one or more hydrogen in the benzene ring may be substituted with one or more substituted;
- and two urethane groups are bonded to the benzene ring at the ortho-, meta- or para-position in relation to the ether linkage.
