Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of modafinil for the manufacture of a medicinal product for the treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence and urethrovesical and anal sphincteral disorders.

A method for the treatment of urinary and/or fecal incontinence which comprises administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound selected from modafinil and its optical isomers.
