Abstract
The stabilized organopolysiloxanes which comprise thiodiglycolic esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 can be identical or different monovalent, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -hydrocarbon radicals, x and y, independently of one another, are each integers from 1 to 10 and n is an integer from 1 to 5. The stabilized organopolysiloxane oils are suitable for use as heat and power transfer media.

A stabilized organopolysiloxane comprising thiodiglycolic esters of the formula ##STR3## in which R.sup.1 can be identical or different monovalent, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -hydrocarbon radicals,
- x and y, independently of one another, are each integers from 1 to 10 and
- n is an integer from 1 to 5.
