Abstract
The present invention relates to a readily molded engineering plastic composition comprising: polyphenylene ether polymer; optionally a second polymer chosen from polyesters, polyamides and polycarbonates; and about 0.05 to about 5 weight percent hydrogenated poly (alpha-olefin) fluid.

A polymer composition made by reacting a mixture comprising:
- about 5 to about 95 weight percent epoxy functionalized polyphenylene ether polymer;
- about 95 to about 5 weight percent polyester polymer;
- and
- about 0.05 to about 5 weight percent hydrogenated poly (alpha-olefin) fluid.
