Abstract
Certain aminoalkyl thioethers represented by the formula ##STR1## their acid addition salts and quaternary ammonium salts are described. The compounds have useful antimicrobial properties.
Claims4
An aminoalkylthioether represented by the following formula:
- ##STR8## or its acid addition salt, wherein R.sub.2 is C.sub.9 -C.sub.21 alkyl or C.sub.9 -C.sub.21 alkenyl,
- R.sup.I and R.sup.II are independently hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or benzyl;
- n represents an integer from 2 to 6.
