Abstract
This invention is directed to an adhesion promoter layer promoter layer containing a binder and a conducting material having a reduced acidity, as well as electrolytic cells prepared with such adhesion promoter layers.
Claims10
An electrolytic cell which comprises:
- an anode containing a compatible anodic material;
- a cathode containing a compatible cathodic material and adhered to an adhesion promoter layer comprising polyacrylic acid, a conducting material, and a basic lithium compound;
- and
- interposed between said anode and said cathode a solid, solvent-containing electrolyte.
