A thin walled article such as a surgical glove is formed from a blend of an elastomer as natural rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene.

A thin walled article having an average thickness of less than 500 .mu.m formed from an elastomeric material comprising a blend of elastomer and an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene, in which the elastomer is natural rubber.
