Abstract
A compound selected from those of formula (I): ##STR1## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9 and n are as defined in the description, its optical isomers, and its addition salts thereof with a pharmaceutically-acceptable acid or base, and medicinal product containing the same for treating a mammal afflicted with a disorder connected with peroxydation processes and biosynthesis of eicosanoids.
Claims12
A compound selected from those of formula (I):
- ##STR17## in which:
- n is 0 or 1,
- R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7, which are identical or different, each represents independently of one another hydrogen or methyl,
- R.sub.5 represents:
- hydrogen,
- lower alkyl R.sub.a -,
- lower acyl R.sub.a -CO-,
- where R.sub.a is a linear or branched alkyl radical having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, inclusive,
- R.sub.8 and R.sub.9, which are identical or different, each represent, independently of one another:
- hydrogen,
- lower alkyl R.sub.a -,
- lower alkenyl, where alkenyl represents a linear or branched unsaturated hydrocarbon having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, inclusive,
- where R.sub.a represents linear or branched lower alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, inclusive,
- alkoxycarbonylalkyl of formula R.sub.a -O-CO-R.sub.b - with R.sub.a and R.sub.b, which are identical or different, as defined above for R.sub.a,
- phenyl-(CH.sub.2)q- or substituted phenyl-(CH.sub.2)q-, with q equal to 0, 1, 2, or 3,
- it being understood that during this description of the general formula (I), the term "substituted" as applied to phenyl-(CH.sub.2)q- means that this group can be substituted by one or a number of identical or different radicals, each of which radicals represents, independently of one another:
- lower alkyl R.sub.c -,
- lower alkoxy R.sub.c -)-,
- lower acyl R.sub.c -CO-,
- trifluoromethyl,
- carboxyl,
- hydroxyl,
- oxo,
- guanidino,
- amidino,
- or a halogen atom,
- where R.sub.c represents linear or branched alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, inclusive,
- its optical isomers, in the pure form or in the form of mixtures, and addition salts thereof with a pharmaceutically-acceptable acid or base.
