Methylpiperazinoazepine compounds, preparation and use thereof

A methylpiperazinoazepine compound corresponding to formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:

• ##STR13## wherein:
• X represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a selenium atom or NH- or NR.sub.3 -group wherein R.sub.3 represents a ##STR14## group or a straight or branched alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
• R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a straight or branched alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
• R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a straight or branched alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
• and
• N.sub.1 represents a benzene ring and N.sub.2 a pyridine ring or vice versa, wherein the nitrogen atom of the pyridine ring is in the b, b', d or d' position, and with the proviso that, when R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent hydrogen and X represents sulfur, oxygen or an NH-group, N.sub.1 is pyridine and N.sub.2 is benzene and the pyridine nitrogen is excluded from position d', both N.sub.1 and N.sub.2 can be benzene when X represents a selenium atom, and both N.sub.1 and N.sub.2 can be pyridine when X represents a sulfur atom.
