## Abstract

An unsaturated ester monomer having the structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl; R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently lower alkyl of 1 to about 4 carbons; and Z is nothing or is a divalent radical having 1 to about 20 carbons.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An unsaturated ester monomer having the structure: ##STR6## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl; R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently lower alkyl of 1 to about 4 carbons; and Z is nothing or is a divalent radical having 1 to about 20 carbons.

The monomer of claim 1 wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The monomer of claim 1 wherein R.sup.1 is methyl.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The monomer of claim 1 wherein R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each ethyl.

The monomer of claim 1 wherein Z is nothing.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The monomer of claim 1 wherein Z is a divalent polymethylene chain --(--CH.sub.2 --).sub.n -- wherein n is 1 to 20.
