Abstract
Aluminophosphates containing manganese in the structural framework are employed for the oxidation of alkanes, for example the vapor phase oxidation of methane to methanol.
Claims9
A method for the direct oxidation of light alkanes comprising contacting said light alkane, in the presence of an oxidant, with catalyst comprising manganese and a crystalline aluminophosphate structural framework, wherein at least a portion of said manganese is incorporated in said structural framework.
