## Abstract

A high zirconia fused cast refractory which comprises from 90 to 95% by weight of ZrO.sub.2, from 3.5 to 7% by weight of SiO.sub.2, from 1.2 to 3% by weight of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and from 0.1 to 0.35% by weight in a total amount of Na.sub.2 O and/or K.sub.2 O, and which does not substantially contain any one of P.sub.2 O.sub.5, B.sub.2 O.sub.3 and CuO.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A high zirconia fused cast refractory which comprises from 90 to 95% by weight of ZrO.sub.2, from 3.5 to 7% by weight of SiO.sub.2, from 1.2 to 3% by weight of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and from 0.1 to 0.35% by weight in a total amount of Na.sub.2 O and/or K.sub.2 O and wherein each of P.sub.2 O.sub.5, B.sub.2 O.sub.3 and CuO which are contained in the refractory as inevitable impurities, is less than 0.02% by weight.

The high zirconia fused cast refractory according to claim 1, which contains from 0.1 to 0.35% by weight of Na.sub.2 O.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The high zirconia fused cast refractory according to claim 1, which contains from 3.5 to 6% by weight of SiO.sub.2, from 1.2 to 2.5% by weight of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and from 0.2 to 0.35% by weight in a total amount of Na.sub.2 O and/or K.sub.2 O.
