Abstract
Novel siloxane compounds having a fluorinated group, an SiH group reactive with silicone resins, and an epoxy-bearing organic group attached to a silicon atom, each in a backbone, are effective for providing adhesion and are useful tackifiers for various resins.

A siloxane compound of formula (1):
- ##STR24## wherein R.sup.f is a perfluoropolyether or perfluoroalkylene group;
- R.sup.1 is a monovalent lower hydrocarbon group or a group of formula (2):
- ##STR25## X is a group of formula (3):
- ##STR26## wherein R.sup.2 is a divalent organic group, or a group of formula (4):
- ##STR27## and letters p, q, m and n are integers of 0 to 3 satisfying the relationship:
- 0<p+q.ltoreq.3, 0<m+n.ltoreq.3, 0<p+n, 0<q+m, 0<p+q+m+n<6.
